LE NOEL DE LA FAA Où tout le monde est bienvenu, aura lieu le 23 novembre à Minnippi Parklands, commençant à 10hr. Pour une participation de $5 par adulte (et enfant de plus de 14 ans), l’association fournira, steaks, saucisses et oignons. A vous de porter vos salades, pains, desserts et boissons. Nous aurons la visite du Père Noël vers 11hr30 pour nos enfants agés de 0 a 12 ans. Afin de planifier les cadeaux du Père Noël et de lui donner des idées, « il en aura besoin » s’il vous plait envoyer-nous le coupon réponse avant le 10 novembre par poste : FAA - PO Box 416 - INALA - 4077 Seuls les enfants présents recevront leur cadeau. Comme chaque année
pour les enfants non-membres, prenez vos cadeaux avec vous, valeur
pas plus de $15, affin que le Père Noël puisse faire son travail
correctement.
THE FAA’S CHRISTMAS You are all welcome to this event, to be held at Minnippi Parklands on the 23rd November, starting a 10am. For a contribution of $5.00 per adult (and children over 14 yrs) the Association will supply steaks, sausages, and onions. You are in charge of bringing your salads, bread, desserts and drinks. Santa will be
visiting your children aged from 0 to 12, at about 11-30 am. As he is getting ready he would like to know, how many children will be attending, their ages and their interests. Please return the enclosed slip by the 10th of November to: FAA - PO Box 416 - INALA - 4077 Santa will distribute presents only to the children who attend on the day. As in past years, non-members will need to provide Santa’s present for their children, namely a gift up to a value of $15.00.

Sacim Fund Raising Evening I personally thank the F.A.A for giving me the opportunity to write a few words about our charity dinner dance on the 4th of October. Like the previous years our fantastic team of helpers needs a mention! Many sincere thanks go to Joelle & Jean Marc Bechard, Danielle & Robert Mallac, Christine & Gilbert Bechard, Marie Anne & George Simpson & Charles Mamet. They all managed to do a beautiful job decorating the hall in the ever bright, colourful and inviting colours of the Mauritian flag, with balloons, palm fronds and sarongs to give that real tropical feel! Swagman Spit Roast once more produced delicious roasts and scrumptious salads for us to feast on! We were then treated to a fantastic floor show performed by the ‘Coco Creole Sega Dancers’! Of course this led us all onto the dance floor for a boogie of our own until midnight! I would like to thank all those who bought tickets in our fund raising raffle as it is our main fund raiser of the evening. Although this year we also auctioned some wine and a signed Ford Shirt, this proved to be a great success! Sincere thanks to Jacques Mamet of Wealth Acceleration Group for his help with the auction. Overall I can happily say that the evening was a success! We got quite a crowd! On behalf of Sacim but most importantly on behalf of the sick kids in Mauritius I would like to congratulate and thank all those who attended the evening.
